The last time I posted was in May? Woah, Houston, we have a problem. I need to get back to doing this I guess.
Life has been crazy for me in these past few weeks. Work at Starbucks has been fine. With all of these new people coming on board, and some other folks getting promoted, I still remain the elder in the store so I just keep plugging along, encouraging the team and teaching old dogs new tricks.
Daniel has been settling in to his new role as a 5th grade teacher at Northern Elementary. The kids are from tough homes and neighborhoods, and 5th is much different than 2nd (in which he did his student teaching), but praise God that Daniel is handling it with grace.

We recently celebrated our one year anniversary in our home (it's 2 years we've been married!) and we are still so happy with the place. Noami and Esther (jack russell dog and black cat) seem to enjoy each others company more every day and we are recently adjusting to being empty nesters again after a 6 month period of having people live with us. I believe it was Megan, Kristen, Becca, Erin, Julie, Matt & Becca.... then Freedom!!! No, I'm kidding with the freedom thing because we actually really enjoyed getting to help these people out and being a fun place to live, but yeah, it's nice being able to put all of our stuff back where it goes now and having a little more room to run around the house without a care in the world.

So yeah, we plan on staying here for a while, unless the Lord calls us elsewhere fast. I have been job hunting recently to find something a little more family oriented, meaning more 9-5ish with a little higher pay, but we will see what the Lord has for me soon.

Keep in touch my friends, I want to know about your lives too! Peace!

Hmm.. What's wierd is that at some point, I thought I might have had an audience out there. And these days, I guess I'm not too motivated to write here because I think maybe facebook and myspace have officially taken over. But I can still remember the days when none of these things existed, or at least, not in the way that they exist today... Craziness for sure.

So it's been a long time. Let's see, I graduated from college with a degree in Theater and one in Media Communications. I had a literature minor as well. And I am a shift supervisor at Starbucks, still here in Ole Kentucky. I also work one night a week serving at an Italian place and I sell Mary Kay a bit- I even drive a free Mary Kay car! I'm loving our house and our friends who have also made Kentucky their home.

I miss deep relationships through e-mails and lunches out and wish I didn't have to work as much as I do. I'd love to just have babies and focus on being a really really superb wife and mother. Cause being married isn't just about the sex. It's about taking care of one another, and sometimes I wish I could do that part much better than I do.

But that's all for today folks. Now I'll cast this out there and see if anyone is still listening!

Is it finally Friday? Ya know, I have mixed feelings about the weekend anyway. I mean, yeah, school is tough, but come Friday after classes, I race off to work until midnight, then pull a 7am to midnight the next day, then wake for church around 7:30am and work Sunday evening, and somewhere in the middle, I try to be studious.

But I did something crazy last week. I dropped my third major. And maybe you're saying, ok, the crazy part was even having a third major. But this is right for me. I couldn't breathe. Being a full time student, working 60 hours a week, being married and having two little pets to take care of- it just wasn't working out. And when God says, "Slow Down, Rest."Well, that's what you've got to do.

But now I have to be taking my GRE asap! I have got to get my GPA up and I have to get myself prepared for what may lie ahead.

Just keep me in your prayers. And my hubby too. He's coming up on student teaching, which will feel a whole lot different for him, which I hope is a good thing!

Well, ta ta for now. Just wanted to post something more than like 5 words. Because I think even if no one is reading this, it's good for me to write.

Ok Ok Ok

Ok, so it's been gazillions of months since I have even typed anything here. But I just started figuring that no one was reading these anyway.

I still cannot type very much right now, as it is 6:30 and I am in need of getting myself to work by 7am. Yup, that's the Starbucks life. I'm just glad it wasn't a 5am shift today.

Things are going great otherwise. Maybe I'll try to update soon.

Haitian Parasite: Eat This!

Well, we're back from Haiti, and here I am, stuck at home with some kind of crazy Hatian parasite. Pray for my recovery.

In other news, the Lord has blessed us with great jobs and we are keeping busy here in the states. If anyone is in Wilmore for anything, never fear to drop in.

We love you all and I will try to keep the updates a little more consistant. Let me know that you are still reading this!
